REPAIRS & RETURNS

REPAIRS – Our products are made from durable recycled materials. As such, they are nearly indestructible, but not completely.

Because we believe in the longevity of our products (and don’t believe in throwing good stuff out) we will repair any issue we can within the first year free of charge. If you need a repair anytime after the first year we are happy to do so for a small fee.

If it has been more that 30 days since the product was purchased, any shipping costs associated with the repair will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

If you have an item that needs repair, please email shop@peopleup.org with a description of the issue, date of purchase, and a picture of the product. Our design team with get back to your shortly. 

 

RETURNS – Should you for any reason be dissatisfied with your PUP product, you may return it within 30 days according to the conditions stated below.

No defects, I just changed my mind – All items returned to us will be inspected and must not show any signs of wear. 

We can refuse to accept a return if:
  • The item has visible signs of wear 
  • The Item was purchased from our "last chance" section
  • The item was purchased more that 30 days ago 
  • No proof of purchase

Please email shop@peopleup.org with the name of the item you want to return and the purchase date to begin your return.

Should the item become lost in the mail as it is being returned, no refund of its original cost will be made. We recommend that you send the item with a delivery company that offers a tracking service.

There is a defect in quality – As a product made of repurposed materials, small holes, inconsistencies & stains may be apparent. However, should there be any defects in quality incurred during our manufacturing, we will refund the purchase price, and any duty or taxes charged.

All items returned for a quality issue will be inspected by us for defects. 
We can refuse to refund an item returned for defects if the issue resulted from:
  • Extreme use of the item by the customer
  • The “small holes, inconsistencies & stains” mentioned above
  • Normal signs of wear and tear
  • The item was purchased more that 30 days prior to filing out the return form. 

If you want to return an item or have it repaired and shipped back to you, please email shop@peopleup.org with a description of the issue, date of purchase, and a photo of the product. Our design team will get back to you shortly. 

 

RETURNING A GIFT –  We cannot give refunds on gifted merchandise.  However, we will be happy to give store credit for the full-price of the item or exchange for a different color/style. 

EXCHANGES – If you are looking to exchange your bag for another color or style, you may do so within 30 days of your purchase. In the event of an exchange, all shipping costs and any duty or taxes charged will be the responsibility of the the customer.

REFUNDS – Only the price of a returned item will be refunded. Any shipping charges, duty or taxes that have been paid will not be refunded. The refund of the purchase price shall be processed in the same way as the original payment was made. 

RETURN SHIPPING – The costs for returning an item are the responsibility of the purchaser. Items can be returned to the following address:
